Born in Pasadena, Dr. Shelby graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 1994. He spent 2 years in Richmond and has been at Long Drive Dog & Cat Hospital since 1996. He is a family man boasting 13 years of married bliss, 2 children and Lola (pictured with Dr. Shelby). He has established one of the finest veterinary hospitals by investing in new technology to stay on the cutting edge. He emphasizes good record keeping to insure that all clients' pets are kept current and conforms to all professional and legal standards.



Dr. Sandra Keener

Dr. Keener is a 1998 graduate of Oklahoma State Veterinary School. She has practiced in Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas. Originally from Kentucky, she has 1 dog, an Australian Shepherd named Clara, and 2 cats, Jessie and Chester.

Dr. Laura Badeau

Dr. Badeau graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School and practiced in Pasadena, Texas until February 2005 at which time she bagan practicing at the Long Drive Dog&Cat Hospital. She married Brian Badeau in 2000 and is shown sporting her Dalmatian Lucky and Terrier mix Rusty. She also takes great care of her cat, Pandora.

Dr. Patricia Castro

The most recent addition to our growing staff of expert vets as of 2008. Dr. Castro graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2006 and is shown with her Multipoo named Oscar.
